Verifyt was built by a team with deep South African retail backgrounds spanning retail property advisory and retail finance.

On the property side: lease audits, recharge formulas, common-area allocations, and the operational mess that comes with managing utilities across multi-tenant developments.

On the finance side: CFO work at national multi-site chains, owner-operator experience in independent stores, and years of signing off on bills nobody had time to read.

Two vantages on the same pattern: nobody was reading the bills line by line. Landlords missed the upstream errors. Finance teams ran out of time before they got to the recharges. Money quietly left the business. Verifyt was built to make that pattern impossible to ignore.
